Sally Miles - Sustainability Communications Manager

Sally is a passionate communicator of environmental issues and solutions.

She has a Science degree from Melbourne University and has spent most of her career to date addressing issues such as climate change, waste, energy and water. She has over 12 years experience working in the environment industry with both corporate and not-for-profit organisations. She has worked predominantly in marketing, branding, events and PR; promoting sustainability messages and actions on behalf of companies and organisations.

At the Carbon Reduction Institute, she manages client communications, both internal and external in promoting and maintaining their climate change action. Once a company becomes certified, it is important to communication this action to stakeholders. Sally assists these companies in ensuring their sustainability messages and strategies are credible, clear and effective. She also runs several industry-based initiatives including the Events Initiative, helping event organisers certify their events carbon neutral.
