Energy Efficiency
Increasing energy efficiency within your business is an important strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, many efficiency measures already have a strong business case due to their short payback periods and reduction in ongoing costs for business. Utilising our well established technical and reporting expertise we can show clients how to significantly reduce their energy use and carbon footprint.
Contact us if you would like to receive more information or to request an Energy Efficiency Technology Assessment from us.
The CRI Energy Efficiency Model has two components:
- Provision of an Energy Efficiency Technology Assessment using the core skills and experience of CRI. The report has a practical focus and can be actioned by your business, and
- Partnering with your business for the delivery of carbon and energy savings.
At present, we focus on one of the major sources of energy use; lighting. Energy efficient Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights are a low cost and simple solution to cut carbon emissions. LEDs can use up to 80% less electricity than incandescent bulbs while providing at least the same visible lighting output.
We are experts in the supply and installation of Commercial Smart Lighting and can assist your business to access the current state government financial rebate schemes, leading to subsidies of up to 70% of the costs associated with upgrading to LED lighting. We are experts in state based schemes, including the New South Wales Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) and the Queensland Energex Positive Payback for Business initiative.
