Get A Rebate On Energy Saving Appliances!

Rebates are now available for eligible Queenslanders who replace old appliances with 4 star-rated (or higher) appliances and hot water systems.

Climate Smart Energy Savers

The program, named Climate Smart Energy Savers and part of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan, has the goal of helping Queenslanders manage their energy usage effectively, lower their utility expenses, and decrease their carbon emissions.

To be eligible for these rebates, the appliances in question must be purchased and installed between September 4, 2023, and the program’s conclusion date.

The program has a finite budget, and as such, rebate applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the allocated funding is depleted, the program will be concluded.

We suggest revisiting Climate Smart Energy Savers to verify the program’s current status and ensure that it is still accepting applications.

2 types of rebates available:

  • standard rebate
  • low-income rebate

The payment you receive will vary based on the energy-efficient appliance you buy and install.
